Vehicle Manufacturer Seeks Government Support for Improved Production
An automobile manufacturer and Chief Executive Officer , Ephraim and Joeana Akwiwu Auto Shop, Mr Ephraim Akwiwu, is seeking support from government at all levels to enable him boost his automobile business production for improved economy and good living.

Akwiwu revealed this in an exclusive interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN at his workshop in Owerri recently.
The entrepreneur who called for active patronage of locally manufactured goods, said it was pertinent to back up words with action in the area of moral, financial and other logistics support.
He assured he was eager to go to great lengths to put the skills he acquired in Europe to good use as part of his contribution to the development of the society especially via human capital development.
Akwiwu marshaled out some of the challenges to his business to include instability of electricity which he regretted grounded some of his power tools.
He lamented lack of adequate space and paucity of fund which impede his expansion of the automobile company, calling on youths to patiently emulate his entrepreneurial efforts, saying some undergraduates, Industrial Training (IT) students and secondary school leavers have benefitted from his skill training.
He added that he needs “patronage because whoever patronizes me has supported me. My doors are open for business and I will welcome every form of support from government at all levels.
I’m willing to train more youths who are ready to grow their talents to fruition; that is my little contribution to human capital development to our society”.
He mentioned his achievements as delving into automobile maintenance and manufacturing since 2011 and 2016 respectively and manufacturing of his second vehicle, ” the Combatant in 2017″.
Others are participation in the Ondo Auto Rally as the only made in the country car in the rally and ongoing production of his current car, adding that there are also manufacture of domestic equipment such as kitchen furniture, doors, windows and a solar powered mobile phone charging system with features such as MP3 for entertainment and free Wi-Fi.
