CHRISTY AGIM INITIATIVE Launches “Pad a Girl Campaign 2.0”
In a bid to empower girls and break the silence surrounding menstrual hygiene, the Christy Agim Initiative (CAI) has announced the launch of “Pad a Girl 2.0”, scheduled to hold on May 28, 2025, in commemoration of Menstrual Hygiene Day.

This initiative, inspired by a deep passion for advocacy and a commitment to giving voice to the voiceless, aims to tackle the challenges faced by young girls in accessing menstrual hygiene products and education.

Christy Agim, founder of CAI, expressed her vision behind the initiative, emphasizing the importance of providing support, guidance, and education to young girls who often lack these essentials.

“Every child, regardless of their background, deserves to be heard, educated, and empowered,” she stated.
Agim highlighted the detrimental impact of misinformation and societal pressures on young lives, particularly in environments where exposure to harmful influences is prevalent.
“Through ‘Pad a Girl 2.0,’ we aim to instill values such as sexual purity, self-worth, leadership, and essential life skills,” Agim explained.
The initiative engages directly with schools and communities, ensuring that girls receive accurate information early on to make informed choices.
CAI’s efforts are geared towards shaping a generation that understands concepts like love, respect, and responsibility, especially during crucial occasions such as Valentine’s Day.
May 28 marks Menstrual Hygiene Day, a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about menstrual hygiene management and breaking taboos surrounding menstruation.
CAI’s “Pad a Girl 2.0” aligns with this mission, advocating for the integration of menstrual hygiene management into policies and programs worldwide.
“Ultimately, our vision is to build a society where children grow up confident, informed, and empowered,” Agim concluded.
The Christy Agim Initiative remains committed to continuous advocacy, education, and support for those who need it most.
Through “Pad a Girl 2.0”, CAI invites individuals and organizations to join hands in empowering girls and ensuring they have access to essential menstrual hygiene products and education.
