Imo: Aggrieved Chieftains of APC, PDP, Others Set to Join ADC as Party Opens Door ||| NEWS CORNER
The Imo state chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) party has disclosed concluded plans of some Chieftains of APC, PDP, SDP and AA to join the party in no distant time.
The state Secretary of the party, Mr. Charles Okoro in a Press Statement he signed on Monday 28th March, 2022 said the development is an “Aftermath of the just concluded National Convention of the All Progressive Congress (APC), some agrieved members of APC in Imo State have met with some of their counterparts in PDP, SDP, AA and few other political parties in the state in a bid to formally decamp to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Imo State”
According to the statement, the aggrieved Stakeholders have approached the leadership of ADC in Imo State as well as instructed many of their Loyalist and supporters to move enmass to ADC as their advance team.
The said agrieved Party Leaders who approached the leadership of ADC in Imo State said that they have decided to quit their former parties because of the rein of impunity and lack of effective Party management skills which may likely make it very difficult for their former respective parties to win Elections in the forthcoming State House of Assembly and National Assembly elections in the State in 2023.
Responding, the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) party in the state extended a hand of fellowship to the aggrieved chieftains of ththe parties, while urging the public to support the party too.
“Consequent upon the above, the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Imo State wish to encourage other good and patriotic people of Imo State that our doors are open to receive people who are willing and determine to salvage Imo State and change the narrative of governance in the State so as to save Imolites from insecurity, economic hardship and abject poverty which is ravaging the State”

“We therefore enjoin Imolites to join forces with African Democratic Congress (ADC) to salvage Imo State from the hands of our oppressors”
