Implementation of Rural Roads, Electricity Projects To Commence Soon –Osuji Richmond

Imo people have been reminded to continue to have faith while being supportive to the current administration because, soon the full implementation of the rural roads, electricity and other infrastructure projects across the State will begin, aimed at improving their living conditions.
This was disclosed by Chief Richmond Osuji who is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, on Rural Development, during an interview with journalists at a function in Owerri, recently.
He reflected that on 27th August, 2019, Governor Emeka Ihedioha, flagged off the construction of multiple rural roads within the State, under the 2nd phase of implementation of the Rural Access and Mobility Project, RAMP-2".
He observed that "about 380.7 kilometers of rural roads will be constructed across the 3 Senatorial Zones of Imo State, in fulfilment of the Governor's campaign promise of creating and accelerating rural development.
The project was estimated for #13.5 billion. This positive move demonstrates PDP's commitment to provide roads, electricity, water and other infrastructure to make life bearable for all good humans".

The former Aboh Mbaise local government area Chairman, while explaining that arrangement has been perfected by Emeka Ihedioha led administration to fix roads, electricity, water and other social amenities at the rural communities of the State to encourage productivity and development, added that there would be maintenance of rural roads, electricity projects across the State.
He called on the people of the State to continue to persevere while supporting the ruling government to rebuild the State holistically with improved economy and promotion and advancement of wellbeing of the people particularly those who produce the wealth of the State, expressed hope that before one year imolites will witness abundant development, reflecting that a lot of things have been achieved by the Rebuild Imo Administration.
