Yuletide: Amaigbo PG Preaches Unity, Peace, Charity …Commends Gov. Uzodimma
The President General of Amaigbo Town Union, in Nwangele Local government council of Imo State, Sir Fyne Madumere has called on politicians in the state to follow Christ’s example and give hope to the poor, the oppressed and the helpless.

Reaching News Corner Media Newsdesk, the Special Adviser to the PG on Media, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma disclosed that Sir Madumere in his Christmas message to Imo people, precisely the good people of Amaigbo Ancient Kingdom in Nwangele of Imo State, reflected on the virtues of peace, love, unity, justice, charity, humility and service to God which Jesus Christ demonstrated during his earthly mission.
Madumere charged Imo people to continue the practice of tolerance, generosity and compassion during and after the Christmas celebration, adding that with peace, Unity and charity bitterness and hatred can be reduced in our society.
“Christmas is a season of peace, an opportunity to revive hope, a day of love and a time to recall all that can be achieved through reflection, forgiveness and reconciliation”.
The President-General however underscored the spiritual nature and value orientation of Jesus Christ, salvation for the entire world, however called for positive thinking among leaders towards the future of Imo State.
‘’Christmas is a time for truth, justice, humility, self-sacrifice for the good and welfare of others, generosity with one’s talents and resources and a life saturated with love, integrity and righteousness’’ He stated.
Sir Madumere further used the opportunity to commend the executive governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma for ensuring peaceful coexistence of the various ethnic groups in the state, pointing out that the Governor has shown deep concern for collective welfare of Imolites.
