NAEMPON Endorses Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma for Imo NUJ Re-election
The Association of Electronic Media Presenters of Nigeria (NAEMPON) has officially thrown its full weight behind the re-election bid of the Imo State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma.
The National President of the Association, Amb. Jerry Osuji who declared the position of NAEMPON to support Comrade Nwanguma in a press release, described him as a progressive who has always partnered with the Association to advance its course.
“In the last four years of my administration, NAEMPON has maintained a robust and mutually beneficial working relationship with the Nwanguma-led NUJ executive. Comrade Nwanguma has been a true pillar of support to the Imo radio and television presenters.
“He has not only extended the needed support and co-operation to our fledgling association of on-air presenters but has also participated actively in all our state-level activities, demonstrating a deep commitment to the entire media ecosystem.

“This invaluable support is also reflected in his willingness to publish our reports in his popular Starpost Express.
“Furthermore, Comrade Nwanguma’s leadership of the NUJ State Council has yielded impressive achievements. His administration’s vibrancy, transparency, and openness have successfully put the Imo State Council on the national map of the Nigerian Union of Journalists.
NAEMPON members however expressed their goodwill messages to have him reelected to consolidate his legacy projects, programmes and policies in the state media sector, while praying God to see him through the process.
“As strategic partners in the media industry, the members of NAEMPON collectively pray that your sterling record of achievements in the union speaks eloquently for you in your forthcoming election”, the release added.
