The City Boy Movement (CBM), Imo State office, has been formerly commissioned in Owerri on Friday.
The founder of the Movement, Seyi Tinubu, who was represented at the unveiling by the Director-General of City Boy Movement, Francis Oluwatosi Shoga, in company of other national leaders, hailed Imo people for being hospitable.
Seyi Tinubu eulogized Hon. Goodluck Nwaneri on his exceptional leadership, as he single-handedly built the edifice which he donated to CBM, describing the state as a strong hold for the reelection bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, given the uncommon show of willingness and participation witnessed among the youth and people of Imo.

The founder described the Movement as the foremost political platform for the President’s reelection, hinting that CBM is made up of progressive youths wherein ministers, lawmakers, captains of industry, philanthropists and so on, have been produced.
The convener urged Imo people to continue to demonstrate their love for the President, saying he, the President holds Imo people dearly love him.
In his words, the donor and founder of Goodluck Nwaneri Foundation, Goodluck Nwaneri, said CBM in Imo would soon be a song that every Imolite are going to sing.
The philanthropist who is also the Director of City Boy Movement in Imo State, appraised the Tinubu as one of the best Nigeria Presidents, urging people to support his government.
“Let me say it without fear or favour, the President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is the only President that has shown genuine passion for youths. This is evident in his appointment of several youths in his government. Hear me today, Tinubu is one of the best Presidents Nigeria has produced.

“You have seen the strength of Imo youths in this Movement. We will support the Movement with all our strength, time, energy, money and most importantly, a rare show of love. That is why I am donating a brand new office for the movement to grow in the state”, Nwaneri said.
He added that”we are not going to do it alone, we will talk to our brothers in diaspora and I know they will be ready to contribute to the realization of the President’s reelection bid come 2027.”
He reflected on his numerous philanthropic activities both in the state and beyond, offsetting of huge hospital bills for poor patients, purchasing of jamb forms for over 2000 candidates, distribution of free fuel to over 4000 mini-bus operators in Imo State and many more.
He promised to do more for the people and thanked the Convener of City Boy Movement, Seyi Tinubu, the Director General, Hon. Francis Oluwatosi Shoga, the Imo State Commissioner for Youths Development and Talents Hunt, Dr. Emeka Mandele Ukaegbu and all the National and State Leaders of CBM for the commitment and doggedness to the cause, pledging his unalloyed support.
Earlier on Friday, the philanthropist who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer of NGC Group, received an ‘Ambassador of Peace’ Award from a conglomerate of Imo youths organized by the Ministry of Youth Development and Talents Hunt during a security summit held at Rockview Hotel Owerri
