Gov. Makinde Has Penchant for Nation- Building —S/East Group

The Governor of Oyo state and the Presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Engr. Seyi Makinde has been described as a dispassionate leader whose genuine penchant for nation building makes him rare and outstanding.

Speaking to the press after the enlarged executive meeting of the South-East Forum For National Unity (SEFFNU) which was held in Owerri at the Weekend, the National President of the group, Prof. Promise Onyewuchim said that Gov. Makinde has tirelessly stood firmly and unshakeably towards protecting Nigeria’s democracy and that his record of achievements in Oyo state has distinguished him as a capable leader with an evidence of huge capacity to be a ‘President’.

The South- East Forum For National Unity (SEFFNU) is a socio- cultural Association with her members drawn from the areas of academic community, media, science, business, agriculture, Technology.

The group expressed optimism that with the likes of Gov. Makinde, hope is not lost over the bright future of Nigeria saying that his antecedent explicitly places him above tribalism, nepotism, bigotry which the group identifies with an exemplary leadership quality for all Nigerian politicians to copy.

SEFFNU had met in Owerri at the weekend for her enlarged executive meeting which was attended by men and ladies of calibre among which include Prof. Jude Obichere, an academic, Hon Udo Agoha, a former commissioner in Imo, Onyema Chiago, a medical practitioner, some community leaders, Media chiefs, and Technocrats from across the South-East states.

It should be recalled that the Makinde- Daura Presidental Campaign Organisation MDPCO was in Enugu Thursday for a South- East zonal town hall meeting.
