Aggrieved Chieftains, Members of APC, PDP, APGA Form Alliance, To Join ADC
According to a press statement by the leadership of African Democratic Congress (ADC)
South East Zone, aggrieved chieftains of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State are set to decamp to ADC with their teeming supporters “to ensure a Quit Notice against Governor Hope Uzodimma”
The press statement signed by the National Vice Chairman ADC South East, Comrade Chilos Godsent on 3rd April 2023 noted that the aggrieved chieftains of the three political parties are in serious consultations for a next line of action after lainching a “Rainbow Alliance(RA)” with ADC in Imo State birthed by intra-party crisis in their respective parties.
“As fallout of intra-party crises in some of the popular political parties in Imo State in the recent time, and following the launching of the Rainbow Alliance (RA) by the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Imo State, some of the aggrieved chieftains of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State has held a close door joint strategy meeting with the Leaders of ADC in a bid to decamp to ADC towards the forthcoming Governorship Election on November 11th, 2023. The aforementioned chieftains from the opposition political parties in Imo State decided to adopt ADC as a viable political platform to coordinate and enforce the Rainbow Alliance (RA) geared towards sending the Senator Hope Uzodinma led APC Government packing through the November 11th 2023 Governorship Election in Imo State”

During the close door joint strategy meeting, the chieftains in the alliance cited issues of insecurity, political rascality, youth unemployment, increasing economic difficulty, abject poverty ravaging residents in Imo State, the use of thugs by the State Government to enforce Government Policies inter-alia as some of the driving reasons why the Rainbow Alliance (RA) must aggressively sensitize the Imo State electorates so as to defeat the APC led repressive government of Imo State and reposition Imo State in the comity of States in Nigeria.

Furthermore, the delegates to the joint strategic alliance meeting noted that ADC is the most credible and formidable political party in the state with the prerequisite Party Structure and Leadership capable of coordinating and leading the Rainbow Alliance (RA) to victory for the total defeat of the Senator Hope Uzodinma led APC Government in Imo State on the November 11th, 2023 Governorship election in Imo State.

According to one of the Chieftain, “We shall invest every available human and mineral resource within our disposal to make sure ADC win the November 11th, 2023 Imo State Governorship Election.
