Accolades as Traffic Warden Receives “Excellence in Service” Award From Imo Police, Ikemefuna Jewish Org

To encourage excellence in service to humanity and society, the Imo State Police Command, in conjunction with Ikemefuna Jewish Organization, had remarkably bestowed an Excellence Award to a Traffic Warden, Inspector Uche Chidiebere, who is posted at Warehouse Junction, Owerri.

The Meritorious Award, which came last week, in Owerri, was informed by the recipient’s dedication and professionalism in controlling traffic and serving the public friendly and dutifully.
During a short ceremony, Ikemefuna Jewish Organization, engineered by Ikemefuna Chidiebere Mbelu, handed an Award Plaque and ₦500,000 Cash Gift to Inspector Uche Chidiebere and hailed him for upholding integrity and hard work, even as he urged other officers to emulate the Honoree’s dedication to duty and friendliness.

Speaking, Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, eulogized Inspector Uche Chidiebere’s exemplary conduct, describing it as a reflection of the ideals of the Nigeria Police Force.

Danjuma stressed that hard work, discipline and service to the public are values that must be often upheld by officers to improve safety on the road.
In his words, Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), who was also in attendance, lauded Uche Chidiebere’s efforts and called for more recognition of frontline traffic controllers who add daily to public safety and orderliness of the city.

However, FRSC had reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism, rewarding excellence and building strong community partnership for safety and orderliness.
“Officers are encouraged to emulate Inspector Uche Chidiebere’s dedication, while the public is urged to continue supporting security agencies for a safer Imo State”,
FRSC advised.
The Awardee, Inspector Uche Chidiebere, had promised to uphold good traffic conduct to sustain safety, expressing joy over the Medal of Honor on him, thanking the Imo State Police Command and Ikemefuna Jewish Organization for finding him worthy of the Award, which he said would spur him for more work.
