NYCN Warns Group Against Blackmail, False Identity
Ikenna Orioha

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Imo State, has thrown warning to a group parading as leaders of the council to forthwith stop relaying lies to the public against its substantive leadership headed by Comrade Chukwuemeka Isidor Chidozie.
Comrade Chukwuemeka in a chat, on Tuesday, in Owerri, told our reporter that the publications made by the said group on Facebook and other Media Platforms that he pleaded before the Court to allow him ample time to figure out himself regarding the Court Case, were falsehood engineered to cheaply score some ugly political points.
Chukwuemeka who is the Imo State Chairman of NYCN, said the council appeared at Court to the chagrin of the opponents, but their case was never called upon by the Court for hearing, citing a pilled of plaintiffs yet to be attended, wondering how mischief brews up in their hearts.
"Don't mind them. They thought we won't appear and was present at the Court, because they were surprised when they saw us. We served them our replies, including my Certificate of Return. The matter was not even mentioned at the Court, rather the Judge asked all those whose matter falls within 28 and above to take a fresh date for the hearing of their case. Enemies of NYCN are writing this rubbish to clean up their lies of setting injunction yesterday. Most importantly, the guy who signed the document, Agwuncha Izunna, is now working with us, he was at the Court yesterday to testify against them".
The Chairman, NYCN Imo State hinted that "Humphrey Osuji and his sponsors have done everything to blackmail us. The wrote petitions to the Governor claiming that we worked for the oppositions in the last general election of which was trashed because there was no atom of truth in them, and the next thing was to raise false claim against us. We cannot join issues with them as we remain focused and refused to be distracted. We have been focusing in providing purposeful leadership for the youth of Imo State anchored on the rebuild Imo policy of the present government".
The council calls on the public to always disregard any publication from the group because they are faceless and thoughtless, reiterating its commitment to support the activities of His Excellency, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha led administration in a view to rebuilding and reforming Imo State for good living.
