Arodiogbu Assumes Leadership of APC Zonal Chairmen, Applauds Uzodimma, Tinubu on Giant Strides
There was a galore of jubilation in the APC fold across Nigeria as the National Vice Chairman of the APC in the South East, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, was elected by the Six Zonal Chairmen of the APC as their Chaiman.
This added feather came few days after Arodiogbu was issued with the Certificate of Return by the 2026 APC National Convention Election Committee led by RT. Hon. Amino Bello Masari (Chairman) and Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu (Secretary) having satisfied the requirements of the party’s Constitution.
Arodiogbu, a worthy son of Arondizuogu in Ideato North local government area of Imo State, was duly reelected as the National Vice Chairman of South East APC during the party’s National Convention, held at Abuja in March, 2026.

The 6 APC Zonal Chairmen said that Arodiogbu merited the position, noting that his vibrancy, capacity and activeness in APC were unparalleled, very visible and paid significantly to the acceptability, unity, formidability, growth, forwardness and victories of the APC in Nigeria particularly in South East.
The APC Zonal Chairmen highlighted that Arodiogbu had used his personal resources to evenly positively publicize the party in the media, describing his input in the party as encouraging, endearing, spurring and electrifying.
They added that the solid political structures built by Ijeomah Arodiogbu and Victor Giadom in the South East and the South South regions would add great values and impetus to the victories of the APC in the 2027 general elections and hence commended them and urged them to intensify their good and impressive performances.
“Based on recent media, leading up to the April 2026 APC National Convention, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu (National Vice Chairman, South East) and Victor Giadom (National Vice Chairman, South South) have been the most visible among the National Vice Chairmen in Nigeria top- tier media particularly regarding regional party leadership, consensus building and reelection in 2026”, they maintained.
Reacting, Arodiogbu said he would continue to work cordially with the leaders and members of the party and in line with the Constitution of the APC to sustain the party’s structures for more clean huge electoral successes in 2027 and beyond.
Appreciating the APC Zonal Vice Chairmen for finding him worthy of the position, Arodiogbu hailed Governor Hope Uzodimma and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for redefining democratic governance in Nigeria.
