Leaders of City Boy Movement Attend Police Refresher Training In Imo
It was indeed a mark of patriotism as the Imo State Coordinator of City Boy Movement, Prince Francis Uzor, alongside the State Organising Secretary, Hon. Dr. Moses Odeghe, on July 9 2025, attended a One-Day in-house Refresher Training Program for personnel of the Imo State Police Command.
The training, held at Hotel de Copperfield in Owerri, by organized by Citizens Advocate for Peace Is Possible in Nigeria (CAPIPN) in collaboration with the Imo State Police Command, was aimed at strengthening professionalism, promoting ethical conduct and enhancing community-focused policing among officers.
Addressing participants, Prince Francis Uzor, hailed the initiative, describing it as a timely and strategic effort towards building a more responsive and responsible police force in Imo State.

Uzor emphasized the City Boy Movement’s commitment to peace, orderliness and youth involvement in nation-building.
Speaking also, Hon. Dr. Moses Odeghe highlighted the importance of continuous training for security personnel, especially in the face of growing security challenges.
Odeghe encouraged closer collaboration between the law enforcement agencies and civil society organizations to ensure sustainable peace and calmness in Imo State.
However, the training featured expert-led sessions on Conflict Resolution, Human Rights Observance and Community Engagement, with contributions from both law enforcement veterans and civil leaders.
With organizers from CAPIPN expressing gratitude to the Imo State Police Command for its openness to partnership and reformation, noting that more of such training programs are in the pipeline.
The program drew participants from Senior Police Officers, Civic Advocates and Youth Leaders across Imo State.
