IMSAA GM Hon. Umunnakwe Bags Award of Excellence
The General Manager of Imo Signage and Advertisement Agency (IMSAA), Hon. Chibuzor Umunnakwe has been honoured with an award of excellence.
The award was given to him by The Unity Magazine; an Abuja-based news outfit at his Owerri office on Wednesday February 24, 2021.
According to the management of the news outfit, the award was in recognition of his renowned leadership performance in Imo Signage and Advertisement Agency as well as his dogged pursuit in helping to enhance the internally generated revenue of the state.

Presenting the award to Hon. Umunnakwe, the Managing Director of The Unity Magazine, Mr Wisdom Anucha, extolled the leadership qualities of Honourable Umunnakwe which he said had enabled him to take IMSAA to a higher level than he met it.
Mr. Anucha said, “We are delighted to present this award to you because through your passionate leadership, you have succeeded in a very short time in making IMSAA a best-practice revenue agency worthy of emulation by all and sundry”
He commended Hon. Umunnakwe for the strides he has achieved in IMSAA, noting that the award given to him by the magazine was to encourage him to do more.
In his response, Hon. Umunnakwe who dedicated the award to God Almighty, thanked the management of the magazine for finding him worthy of the award.

While acknowledging the challenges of the job, Hon. Umunnakwe expressed thanks to Governor Hope Uzodimma for appointing him and to all staff of the Agency for their all-round support since he ascended the headship of IMSAA in July 2020 and promised not to let them down.
The award ceremony was witnessed by the Agency’s Staff, notably Mr. Ken Ekezie who is Director of Operations and Mr. Michael Onuoha; the Director of Corporate Affairs and Human Resources.
