Imo Guber: Tony Nwulu makes history, attracts EU Partnership ahead of elections

A top governorship aspirant in the forthcoming 2019 Imo guber-election and member representing Oshodi-Isolo 11 Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Tony Nwulu has established a mechanism that will attract constant huge inflow of direct investment from Europe and the world at large to the State.
The Imo born Federal lawmaker has been in Brussels, Belgium after President Buhari signed the “Not Too Young To Run” bill which he initiated into law on invitation of the European Union Parliament.
Hon. Nwulu in joyful and patriotic spirit after receiving accolades from the EU and globally for the Not Too Young To Run Law engaged some European countries on the need to invest in Imo State, South East Nigeria where he has been endorsed by thousands of youths to take over the mantle of leadership of the State in 2019.
The members of the European Parliament expressed their joy over the signing into law of the Not Too Young To Run Act which had long deprived youths a place in the leadership of Nigeria.
They extolled the law maker for his untiring resolve to give Imo state a face-lift ahead of taking the mantle of leadership and declared their support and willingness to invest in the state.

Mr. Santiago Fisas Ayxela, a member of the European Parliament after extensive talks and deliberations disclosed Spain’s resolve to be a viable development partner with Nwulu and Imo State.

Another member of the EU Parliament, Mr. Gerrad Quille who received Hon Nwulu in Brussels, Belgium engaged in mutual discussions with the Imo State Governorship hopeful on the need to strengthen youth mainstreaming in Politics and expressed his readiness to go into viable developmental partnership.

The Head Slovenia Investment Council and member EU Parliament, Mrs Romana Tomc also assured Nwulu of her support, said Slovenia is ready to collaborate with Imo State through in the area of Youth capacity development.

The need to make Imo State an economic hub came from Mrs Maria Arena, another member of the EU Parliament and Head Belgium International Trade Council who held mutual discussions with Hon Nwulu. This is expected to translate in making Imo State an economic boom by the time Nwulu is elected at the polls and takes over the reigns of governance of Imo State in 2019.

Many Imolites at home and in Diaspora has as well applauded the 39 year old lawmaker, Hon. Tony Nwulu for his initiative in ensuring the passage of the “Not Too Young To Run” into law and for considering the development of the State a top priority hence calls for census support across the state.
