Orlu Senate: Opinion Poll Favours NRM Senatorial Candidate Stephen CY Uwaezuoke
Outcome of an Opinion poll conducted for Imo West (Orlu Zone) Senatorial District has favoured the Senatorial Candidate of National Rescue Movement, NRM, Chief Stephen Uwaezuoke as the best candidate for the Senatorial Position in 2023 General Elections.
In an opinion poll conducted by a reputable media group, Imo Media Observers Forum, IMOF in conjunction with the management of Media Publicity Package Services, he emerged the best choice among the rest.
The result of the poll was made available to the public through a Press Release signed by the Secretary of Imo Media Observers Forum, IMOF, Comrade Kelechi Uzoma.
Names of the Candidates contesting for the exalted position with pictures and party logo were distributed online, question and answer forms were also given out for people to fill.
The opinion poll focused on credibility, competence and capacity of all the candidates. Finally when responses were collected from various online platforms and comments were extracted from forms filled for the poll, the outcome favoured Chief Uwaezuoke as the best option for the job.
The secretary of IMOF, Mr Kelechi Uzoma and Managing Director of Media Publicity Package, Mr Chuks Nwokeji jointly monitored the opinion.
Other candidates their names topped the list were APC Senatorial Candidate, Senator Osita Izunaso and Labour Party Senatorial Candidate, Chief Charles Ahize.
After question and answer forms with background information about all the candidates were distributed and collected, the electorate and other stakeholders who participated and returned their forms were highly impressed about the sterling qualities of Senatorial Candidate of the National Rescue Movement Chief Uwaezuoke as an American based ICT Expert and rated him high as the most eminently qualified to represent Imo West Senatorial.

Many who agreed that the zone needs a fresh air singled him out as the paradigm shift the zone needs to end the era of bad political leadership and poor representation in the zone.
From the responses of the people, they were not comfortable with Izunaso, they saw him as a product of leadership of PDP and APC that put the people into untold hardship.
They further expressed displeasure that a man who has gone to House of Reps and Senate under PDP and was National officer of APC, a party they blamed for economic woes and insecurity in the country is desiring to go back to the Red Chambers.
The electorate appeared not to be comfortable with the candidacy of Chief Charles Ahize as they question his reputation, credibility and capacity to occupy such position.
Chief Uwaezuoke of National rescue Movement, scored 40 percent, Senator Izunaso scored of APC scored 20 percent while Labour Party Senatorial Candidate Charles Ahize, scored 15 percent, about 5 percent of the people did not return the forms given to them.
