Imo Commissionership: SA on Research, Ogu Bundu Nwadike Replies Prof Obiaraeri on 2/22 Executive Council

In reaction to a former Commissioner for Information, Professor Nnamdi Obiaraeri’s statements concerning the constitution of Imo state Executive Council, and how best it should have been if constituted equally among genders from all walks of life, the Special Assistant on Research to Imo Governor, Mr Ogu Bundu Nwadike has taken to clear the air.

Mr Ogu Bundu Nwadike Writes:

FOR IHEDIOHA SO LOVES WOMEN, HE CREATED “MINISTRY OF GENDER AND VULNERABLE GROUPS” AND APPOINTED A WOMAN AS THE HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER!

Prof. Nnamdi Obiaraeri, Akwaaba Charlie, if you’re still in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Tarkwa or wherever in Ashanti Land!

Caption of your rather beautiful “So Long A Letter” nearly robbed me the juice I sucked out of it!

You entitled it: “Kudos, Kicks and Knocks on Governor Ihedioha’s 2/23 Imo State Executive Council”!

You gave the governor one small kudos, then hammered him with enough kicks and knocks! That’s most unfair!

You focused on 2/22 with your usual deceptive heart for women! Why do you love putting your eyes and mouth into women thing?

Your main themes were on the forward way for Imo State and Imo people. I owe you a Kenke and Dunkunu with apeteshi treat when you return!

I’ve filed your short book I tagged “Imo Today” for profuse reference purposes in the coming days. Thanks.

But what’s the definition of “Many”? Your view of: “Notwithstanding that there are many pending Election Petition Tribunal cases challenging Ihedioha’s continued stay in office as dejure Governor of Imo State…” is misleading, misinformation.

How much is many?

Who and who are in the Tribunal challenging Gov. Ihedioha’s resounding victory of Saturday March 9, 2019 gubernatorial election?

Name them!

Does the number qualify for “many”?

But for your lie of “many” challenging Gov. Ihedioha’s victory, all else you wrote made some sense out of nonsense! You know that in every nonsense, there’s a sense!

At least, you commended and applauded the governor for creating the “Ministry of Gender and Vulnerable Groups”!

According to you, “The “Ministry of Gender and Vulnerable Groups” is contemporary in outlook and will cater for the disabled, women, children and the elderly to name a few.”

Yet, you reprobated earlier with your: “With this last move , Governor Ihedioha has made the charge of misogyny and anti-women posture usually levelled against him and his party PDP to refuse to go away.

“This discriminatory posture of Governor Ihedioha against Imo women in the Imo EXCO will score him very low marks on the Rule of Law Scale whenever and wherever his administration is evaluated by knowledgeable people and men and women of enlightened consciences.”

What are you talking about, Prof!

Yet, you eulogized Noble Lady, Prof. Viola Onwuliri and Princess Barr. Mrs. Nkiru Ibekwe to the highest heavens! Will they and other knowledgeable Imo women of enlightened consciences agree with you that Gov. Ihedioha doesn’t love women?

Let me remind you that Gov. Ihedioha loves women more than you!

My letter shouldn’t be longer than yours!

Please, as the governor charged the Executive of IMSU Alumni Association that visited a couple of days ago, try and keep your criticisms constructive, especially in the area of gender and Gov. Ihedioha. He loves women wella!

The men you see populating the cabinet may representing their wives that chose to send their husbands so they, the women can make their homes good, better, best!

Investigate that too!

I will be reacting profusely to the matters arising from your epistle in the following days and weeks!

Thanks for making my weekend!

Akwaaba Charlie!😎.
