CP Desk Unit: SSA to President Tinubu on S/East Community Engagement lauds Commissioner of Police

The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community Engagement South East, Barr. Chioma Nweze, has lauded the Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Abokki Danjuma, for establishing the CP Desk Unit where critical police issues will be tackled with professionalism, integrity and the best police ethics.

Nweze who was ably represented by her Coordinator in Imo State,
the President of Owerri Zone Youth Niger Delta Forum (OZYNDF) and the former SA to the Governor on Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, gave the commendation in an interview with journalists immediately after the official commissioning of the new Command Office erected by good spirited friends of the Police Force led by Prince Stanley Nwakanma, held at the Command’s headquarters in Owerri on Friday.

The SSA described the CP as a man of action, who she said is competent, efficiently courageous, adding that since his appointment as Commissioner of Police, Imo State has become a peaceful home for all individuals, as relative peace

is being experienced across the state.

Nweze disclosed that commercial activities in Owerri metropolis have improved with traders, hoteliers, industrialists, investors coming in and doing business with ease, even as she promised to continue to work with the Command, as well as offer the necessary support to enhance police operations for improved security.

“Our solidarity, commitment, and partnership with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies in Imo State and South East at large, will continue to improve. The office of the SSA is working hard to unleash more purpose-driven empowerments and events geared towards poverty alleviation in South East.

“We encourage the youth to leverage on these opportunities and get empowered for societal peace”, she stressed.

She appreciated Commander Wilson for being proactive and peaceful, especially in handling every matter in the CP Desk while calling on the good spirited citizens to continue to partner with the Nigerian Police Force to strengthen security and social peace as part of citizens role to encourage effective policing in Imo State and South East at large.
