ALGON Chairman receives Excellent Service Award from Global IMSU Alumni

Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Imo State Chapter, Hon. Adm. Willie TC Okolieogwo, has received an Excellent Service Award from Global IMSU Graduates Alumni (GIMSUGA).
Conferring the Award on Hon. Willie TC Okolieogwo, the Global President of GIMSUGA, Dr. Anayo Chukwunonye Uhiara, noted that the accolade was due to his firmness, fairness and commitment towards the growth of humanity, peace and development of Oru West Local Government Area and Imo State in extension.
Uhiara was emphatic that “Chief Willie TC Okolieogwo has humbly and devotedly served humanity in different leadership capacities, proving his academic excellence and administrative ingenuity. He has contributed in no small measure to the success of 3R government and the development of Imo State”.
The recognition came during the maiden Convention/Annual General Meeting of the IMSU Alumni recently held at the Rockview Hotel Owerri with people across board gracing the thrilling and memorable event.
Responding to the honour, Okolieogwo, who is the Sole Administrator of Oru West Local Government Council, eulogized GIMSUGA for finding him worthy of the Excellent Service Award, an accolade he said he dedicated to the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma and the entire people of Oru West.
Okolieogwo hence pledged to continue to do things that are people driven, saying the honour would often spur him to intensify services to help advance social development and economic prosperity in Oru West and Imo State at large for improved peace and security.
Okolieogwo who expressed delight over the accolade, appealed to the people of Imo State and other eligible voters to keep faith in their resolve to reelect Governor Hope Uzodimma in the forthcoming governorship election to enable him to holistically edify the state for the good of all persons.
