YAN Applaud Gov. Alex Otti for Appointing Comr Onyebuchi Chukwu SA Youth Development
Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN) Abia state Chapter has commended His Excellency Governor Alex Otti for appointing a pragmatic youth leader Comrade Onyebuchi Chukwu as his Special Assistant on Youth Development.

In a release signed on Wednesday 10th July 2024 by the YAN Speaker Abia state Rt. Hon. Kachy Madukaego described the appointment of Comrade Onyebuchi Chukwu as a round peg in a round hole, adding that the appointment has further proved that the governor is not relenting in ensuring that Abia youths contribute their quota in the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction of the state.

“Over the years YAN have been firm in their campaign for youth participation in governance and contributing to nation building, we are elated that the administration of Governor Alex Otti has embraced this policy through his recent appointment of Special Assistant on Youth Development.

“Like the Oliver twist, the youth still want more, our slogan says “build the youth -build the nation, Abia state have youths who are qualified to serve in various capacity hence we appeal to our youth friendly and listening governor to appoint more youths in his cabinet to give them sense of belonging.
“If our youths are gainfully employed and empowered; the crime rate in the state will nose dive, in Abia we have talented and educated youths who are willing to work while the government provide the enabling environment”, he said.
Furthermore, the YAN speaker Rt. Hon. Kachy Madukaego congratulated the Special Assistant to the governor on Youth Development Comrade Onyebuchi Chukwu and encouraged him to use his good office to ensure that the voice of Abia youths are heard and as well carry along youth stakeholders.
