Unachuku Mourns Departed Colleague, Tony Okere

Commissioner For Lands, Survey and Physical Planning, Imo State, Sir Bon Unachukwu, has mourned his departed colleague, Hon Tony Ifeanyichukwu Eze Okere who he described as a good man with sound love for humanity.
Late Hon. Tony Ifeanyichukwu Eze Okere was a Commissioner of Environment who died on active service to his fatherland.
He was a native of Ohaji/Egbema local government area of Imo State.
The Commissioner regretted that his “demise was a huge loss not only to his immediate family, but Imo State in general”.
Unachukwu who joined the state Governor, Emeka Ihedioha and the entire Imo State Expanded Executive Council Members at the Sam Mbakwe Executive Chamber on Friday, December 20, 2019, to receive the corpse of the Late Okere for a valedictory Section, said death was inevitable.
Thereafter, they proceeded to St. Joseph Catholic Church Obiakpu, Ohaji/ Egbema for the Requiem Mass and final interment of the deceased Commissioner at his Country home, Umuiyasarankwo Obiakpu, Egbema.
In a Press Release made available to this newspaper and signed by the SA Media and Protocols to the Commissioner, Ahamefule Bright, disclosed that the Commissioner and the entire Staff of the Ministry of Lands, Survey and Physical Planning, Imo State, extended their heartfelt condolences to the family of Okere and prayed that God Almighty grants them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their beloved.
