By Ikenna Orioha…
Hon. CDB Williams who is the Special Adviser to the Governor on Urban Development and APC candidate for Owerri Federal Constituency in the 2023 election, has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on his Supreme Court victory.
He stated that the victory is a clear manifestation of the overwhelming votes Imo people gave the APC during the Off-Cycle Imo Gubernatorial Election held on November 11, 2023.
CDB Williams, who contributed greatly to the reelection of the people’s Governor, told our reporter on Friday in Owerri after the Court judgement that APC and the Governor deserve the court victory which he described as a victory for Imo people and internal democracy.
The illustrious indigene of Umuihugba/Umuodu in Owerri Municipal LGA, a pragmatic politician and visionary leader, said the Governor will now have no distraction as he works for the good of the state and its citizens.
“I, Hon. CDB Williams, my family and the entire members of APC in Owerri Federal Constituency, heartily salute Governor Hope Uzodimma and the Imo APC for defeating the opposition political parties in the Supreme Court. The victory authenticates, as well as signifies the massive votes and mandate the people of Imo State gave the Governor and APC in the November 11 2023 Off-Cycle Imo Guber election. This is victory for democracy and the people of Imo State”, he added.

The technocrat, erudite scholar, fair-minded politician and kind-hearted human, stressed that APC and the Shared Prosperity Government will intensify good governance in the state especially on road infrastructure in both urban, suburb and the rural communities to strengthen goodness, economic/social development and hence encourage productivity, resourcefulness, social security and peace in the state.
“I firmly believe that the Governor who has done many quality roads across Imo State, given technological skills to empower youths, built state-of-the-art hospitals in Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru East LGAs, will do more to strengthen overall development in the state. The APC Government is succeeding in sustaining peace and security, just as it is making huge success in inclusion of youths and women in governance, improving revenue generation to strengthen development, encouraging productivity”, CDB Williams maintained.
