Rochas Okorocha charges NIPOST to be more Proactive in Imo
The governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha has called on the Management of Nigerian Postal Service to be more pro-active in their service delivery to the Nation and in particular Imo State.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of Imo State, Sir George Eche when the South Eastern Zonal Manager, Nigerian Postal Services, Enugu Zone, Mr. Willie Ekong called at the cabinet office, Owerri said efforts should be geared towards making NIPOST to regain its past glory.

He was optimistic that if properly managed it could still be the best in communication delivery services to the country.
The Governor recalled how mails, stamps, telegrams and other services provided by Nigerians Postal Services saved the world and wondered why it should allow new technologies to be a major challenge to its functions.
In an address the Enugu Zonal Manager, Nigerian Postal Services, Mr. Willie Ekong commended the Governor for all his efforts in the State noting that NIPOST has been effectively repositioned for operational efficiency and financial accretion.
