Recruitment Of 10,000 Teachers Will Boost Quality Education In Imo – APC South East Vice Natl Chairman

Imo State born physician and the South East APC National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has disclosed that the recruitment of 10,000 primary school teachers in the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State will boost quality education.

Arodiogbu added that the exercise would also provide secured employment for qualified youths particularly those who studied education.

Speaking in Owerri on Monday, the proponent of actual democracy: good governance, purposeful leadership and a believer of welfarism, stated that Governor Hope Uzodimma meant well for Imo people hence he is going extra miles to recruit additional 10,000 teachers to strengthen teaching and learning in the primary schools in the state.

He maintained that the Governor loves and cherishes quality education little wonder he retrains teachers, as well as engages them on pre – evaluation conference through the Ministry of Education and Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB) with a view to equipping them with the 21th century
teaching techniques as encapsulated in the Global Curricula/Methodologies.

He hinted that relevant text books and writing materials have been provided to both secondary and primary schools across the state including seats, just as some new structures have been erected, some old dilapidated ones rehabilitated to make room for improved teaching and learning in serene and conducive environment.

“The Shared Prosperity led administration in Imo State championed by Governor Hope Uzodimma has made great contributions in promoting quality education in Imo State. His move to employ 10,000 primary school teachers is going to be a big boost to the education sector in the state. Such a bold step will also create huge employment for citizens which will reduce idleness, waywardness, increases social and economic prosperity. No governor in Imo State was able to achieve this great feat in education and infrastructure which Uzodimma has demystified in less than four years”, Arodiogbu maintained.

Arodiogbu therefore called on all reasonable Imolites to remain committed, peaceful and godly as they support the reelection bid of Governor Hope Uzodimma for the total transformation, goodness, peace, security, comfort and prosperity of Imo State.
