This testimony is a further confirmation that Hon. Asoluka has been tested and can be trusted with power as his loyalty has never been in doubt both to the community leaders and the state government.
In his recent interviews, with journalist in Owerri Hon. Barr. Clement Asoluka took time to reel out his blueprint and agenda as chairman of the local government which includes total rehabilitation of the secretariat complex, reconstruction of office blocks, boosting the internal generated revenue of the council, improvement of staff welfare, and above all synergizing with the state government to disseminate dividends of democracy to the grassroot.
According to him, “we don’t want a chairman that will be at loggerhead with the state government hence I will be able to synchronize with the governor better without any friction, having worked at various capacities and ensuring his victory at the election, I can be trusted with power and other vital things including security.
He has also made clear his intentions to rescue the sorry situation of the local government council access road with stone base palliative measure pending when the state government have the financial strength to facilitate the reconstruction of the road.
