Prince Bob Njemanze Debunks Newspaper Publications On Imo Governorship Seat …Says He Never Granted Interview Recently To Any Media House
By Chinedu Max Egere
A public affairs analyst, Prince Bob Njemanze has made it clear that he is not in any way against Owerri geo- political zone in respect of the Imo charter of equity and further cleared the air debunking the trending newspaper publications where he was misquoted and misinterpreted on his ideas concerning the zoning of Imo governorship seat.
Prince Njemanze in his statement on Tuesday in Owerri condemned what he termed as the viral use of his name to carry out such false and malicious propaganda meant to favour a particular zone.
The fiery public affairs analyst has never minced his words on how Owerri zone, where he comes from, would easily clinch the governorship seat in Imo which appears different from the contents of the publications that portrayed he blamed Owerri zone for truncating the chances of Okigwe zone in 2011.
He said ‘While I have no objection to Chief Ikedi Ohakim’s bid as it would be in favour of Owerri zone, I am not also in any way against Owerri geo-political zone producing the next governor of Imo state’.
Prince Njemanze further explained that the last press interview he granted over the zoning of Imo governorship seat was in July 14, 2024 and wondered why any person or group of persons could spread such muddled stories to the extent of crediting them to him.
Hear him’ Yes, Owerri zone can lose the battle to win the war. Only Ohakim is handicapped to do ‘one term’ as governor and allowing him to complete his tenure would be an advantage to Owerri zone.

The Owerri-born Prince insisted that the viral publications did not fully represent his full story about the Imo governorship seat and while he dissociated from the publications, he maintains his views that the situation in Imo inevitably calls for the dialogue of the zones for the purposes of reaching a compromise ahead of Imo governorship election.
In the permutations of the analyst, he revealed what he sees as the best and easiest way for Owerri zone to produce Governor Hope Uzodimma’s successor which he narrated as majorly making a sacrifice with Chief Ohakim so that the coast would be clear for them in 2031.
Prince Njemanze has a strong belief that creating a seamless transition would keep Owerri zone in a safer corner to get the governorship seat and disclosed that even as Owerri zone is his first choice for the governorship seat, ‘ being convinced that it is their turn should not make them take things for granted, else in the struggle, Orlu will get in there and pick it”
Meanwhile, the persons who syndicated the false publications have since apologized to Prince Bob Njemanze pleading that it was an excerpt which they sourced from his old interviews without his permission and their actions have continued to receive condemnations from various quarters.
The public is aware that Prince Bob Njemanze does not play “hide and seek” game given his rare antecedents of being objective and realistic in all situations.
