Owerri Zone Senate: Chima Amadi Will Enhance Democratic Leadership, Humanitarianism —TMO
The Director- General of The Mazi Organization (TMO), Henry Onwukwe, has said that Chima Amadi would enhance democratic leadership and humanitarianism via quality and fair representation if he goes to the Senate from 2027.
Onwukwe gave the assurance during a press conference held on Tuesday in Owerri. The briefing was witnessed by Action People’s Party (APP) leaders and members of TMO.

Onwukwe stated that Amadi decided to run for Senate under APP in order to have more political edge to contest for Imo State governorship, as well as strengthen peace, development and humanitarian service to Imo people, particularly Owerri Zone indigents who he regretted are being relegated and demonically punished with poverty and hunger by the powers that be.
The group added that Amadi is the most qualified politician vying for Owerri Zone Senate Seat and the governorship of Imo State in the forthcoming polls, attributing that Amadi had done a lot of philanthropy to Imo people who he said would not leave any stone unturned from giving him their mandate.

Onwukwe noted that Amadi, an illustrious and wealthy indigene of Ngor-kpala local government area had paid medical bills, school fees, built houses, empowered indigent persons across communities in the state, donated huge amount of money to the church, gave financial help to Toronto Traders who fell victim of the state government’s bulldozing, among other goodies.
He reiterated that Amadi has the capacity to be Senator and Governor, saying running for elective position would help deepen grassroots development, provide visible leadership as he would always advocate for Imo people and enhance national policy in the interest of the people and the APP.
“After careful deliberation, broad consultation and strategic evaluation of the political terran, we wish to formally inform Ndi Imo that Dr. Chima Amadı has taken a deliberate and well-considered decision to contest both the Owerri Zone Senate Seat in the January 2027 general elections and the Imo State governorship election later in November 2027 under the platform of the Action People’s Party, APP.
“This is not a decision born out of uncertainty, rather, it is one rooted in clarity of purpose, political realism and a deep commitment to building a durable and winning movement.
“We must also speak frankly about political realities within Imo State. The Owerri Zone Senate Seat is not merely a legislative position, it is a strategic political anchor.
“Historically and structurally, whoever secures this seat enters the governorship race with significant momentum, visibility and legitimacy.
“To our supporters, party faithful and the good people of Imo State, this moment requires clarity, not hesitation.
“Our ambition remains singular in purpose to restore governance, dignity and progress to Imo State. The dual path we are taking is simply the most effective route to achieving that objective.
“We ask you to see this not as two separate pursuits, but as one continuous journey. A journey that begins with representation at the Senate and culminates in transformational leadership at Douglas House.
“We are building a movement that is disciplined, forward- looking and rooted in service. Every step we take is intentional.
“This decision reflects strength, not division. It reflects foresight, not improvisation. And above all, it reflects unwavering commitment to the people of Imo State.
“We call on Ndi Imo to stand with us; to support this strategy.
To mobilize across communities. And to be part of a defining moment in our state’s history, for together we will not only contest, we will prevail”, TMO said.
