Political Stability of Imo State lies on Uzodimma’s second mandate, says SA RUWASSA …As he visits group ahead Nov 11 election

Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Water Supply And Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA), Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop, has stated that Political Stability of Imo State lies on Governor Hope Uzodimma’s reelection on November 11, 2023 poll.

He stated this when he paid a visit to the leader of Imo Obidients Support Group to Governor Hope Uzodimma in Owerri on Monday.

The Obidients Support Group to Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma in the Forthcoming Guber Poll which is led by a great youth commander, Comr. Dr. Emeka Mandela.

SA RUWASSA to the Governor, Hon. Okereke Godson Bishop with leadership of Obidient Support Group after a meeting in Owerri on Monday.

Okereke said the Governor has performed excellently to deserve another four years tenure in office as governor, stressing that when he is given another mandate he would consolidate purposeful leadership, a feat he added will strengthen development, peace and security in the state, appealing to youths to support the Charter of Equity in politics and governance so that political stability would be maintained therein.

The SA on RUWASSA buttressed that “the Governor has promised to return power to Owerri Zone and after Owerri Zone, Okigwe Zone takes over. The arrangement on Charter of Equity by Imo Elders will put an end to wars and political instability in Imo State and hence stir up development”.

He encouraged other youths of Imo State to join hands towards supporting and reelecting Governor Hope Uzodimma, saying they will not regret given him another mandate to Douglas House, thanking the Obidient Support Group leadership for welcoming him and declaration of total support to the Governor.

Speaking, the leader of the group, Comr. Dr. Emeka Mandela, noted that the “Obidient Support Group partnership with the 3R led government was spurred by the young people the Governor has absolved in his cabinet, which is the most important struggle of Obidient Family where power will be shifted from the old to the young generation”.

Mandela promised to further mobilize the grassroots at all levels towards Uzodimma’s reelection to enable him to consolidate his efforts in bringing more young people to politics and governance.

Stating that Governor Hope Uzodimma understands perfectly Imo politics, knows how to penetrate on the power at the centre, Mandela added that “when Uzodimma is reelected, he will easily connect Imo State to the center. He already has all required workforce to stir the ship of governance. None of his rival could draw Imo to the centre. And distracting him further will draw Imo backward. Imo needs to move forward”.

While defining the Governor as a good man who is kind-hearted, humble and development oriented, Mandela urged Imo youths to cue up with the Governor strongly and take their destinies in their hands”.
