NUJ Scribe Lauds Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum On 7th Anniversary<br>…urges Group To Do More For The Development Of The People
A media practitioner and South East Zonal Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Comrade Eze Adiuku, has lauded the Global Administrator and members of Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum on the 7th anniversary of the formation of the organization.
In a congratulatory message to the Global Administrator/founder of the group, Arc Chuks Ikwu, Comrade Adiuku said the vision that gave birth to the socio-cultural group, is borne out of patriotism for the Mbaise nation.
Comrade Adiuku who is also the President of Federation of Mbaise Media Professionals, FMMP, extolled Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum for the numerous developmental strides such as the Mbaise Nation Football Tournament where youths from all communities across the three local government areas compete for laurels.
The media professional expressed gratitude to the United States based founder of the organization, Arc Ikwu for sustaining the Forum for the past seven years.
He urged the pan-Mbaise organization to do more for the development of the Mbaise Nation.
“I want to see Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum engage in talent hunt among young persons in various areas of endeavour. The group can act as one of the needed catalysts to rekindle the spirit of ‘Onye aghala nwanneya’, by making Mbaise a hub for development in Imo State.
“We need to see a strategic plan towards having a master plan for growth centres across Mbaise. There should be Mbaise Urban which will be the hub of development in the area.
“Ikoro Mbaise can do more in areas such as cultural and sports development as well as encouraging children and youths in education by instituting scholarships to assist the less-privileged and gifted children”, he stated.
Ikoro Mbaise Global Forum, which is an organization of high net worth sons and daughters of Mbaise, was formed on the 5th of June 2016 and will be celebrating her Day on 4th of January 2024 at the Chris IV Hotels and Suites Ahiara Mbaise.
