In giving the former Ohaneze Ndigbo President General, Late Engr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu a befitting and state burial, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, OON has approved the following as members of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Prince Lemmy Akakem, Sir Bon Unachukwu, Mr. Jide Iwuanyanwu, Deacon Ambrose Nwagboso, Mr. Joseph Ahaneku, Deacon Godson Asinugwo, Rev. Uchenna Uchehara, Engr. Emeka Ugoanyanwu, Engr. Obioma Iwuamadi, Engr. Bob Nwazota, Hon. Dr. Ezechi Chukwu, Barr. C.J. Ihemedu, Sir Ambrose Obioha, Dr. Ethel Okere, Hon. Wilson Nwafor.

Others are, Sir Bright Nwelue, Pastor Favour Iheanacho, Dr. Kachi Nwogu, Chief Ifeanyi Nwadikwa, Chief Emma, Chief Marcon Nlemigbo, Lady Chigozie Ihekire, Prince Mike Enwerem, Mrs. AQueen Ibeto, Hon. Obioma Okafor, Dr. Mrs Angela Uwakwem, Barr. Chucks Ekomaru, Mr.. Ben Osuagwu, Amb. Kema Chikwe.

In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Declan Emelumba, the Governor equally appointed the NUJ Chairman, Imo State council, Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma JP as member of committee, with Chairmen of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Chibuike Onyejetu, Ex-Iwuanyanwu Football Association Worldwide, Mr. Isaac Mbika, Iwuanyanwu Youths Vanguard, Mr. Jahn Ezenwa, University of Nigeria Association, Me. Louis Alozie SAN, Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Dr. Eches Divine Eches, Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Mr. Emma Madubuike, Nigeria Environmental Engineers, and Mrs. Ngozi Nwogue.
