NAAKISS Nekede Chapter Honours News Corner Media.

News Corner Media, an Online Newspaper Organization on Sunday 9th June 2019 added to her list of awards as the National Association of Akwa Ibom State Students Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri chapter presented an Award of Excellence to the Organization for her contribution in projecting the image of the Association and the institution at large.
Presenting the award to the organization, the President of the association, Comrade Daniel Osom said the award is aimed at celebrating developmental journalism which the Online News medium and its team has shown in the discharge of their duties.

Comrade Daniel who added that the society is in dire need of change, urged the management of the News Organization to susten the tempo and keep up the good works of projecting the good in society for exemplary emulation as well as betterment of all.

Receiving the award on behalf of the News Corner Media, the Publisher, Mr ThankGod Emeh expressed appreciation to the association for finding the media organization worthy to be honoured and promised to partner with the Association.

Mr Emeh enjoined the executives and members of the association to be united at all times, live up to expectations of the association as well as the constituencies and institution they represent adding that to whom much is given; much is expected of.
Also speaking, the Legal Adviser to the National Association of Akwa Ibom State Students, Comrade Idiong Timothy who stressed the criteria and importance of the award, congratulated the Publisher of News Corner Media, Mr ThankGod Emeh for making it.
He as well thanked the management and staff of the News Organization for their support to the association and society while encouraging them not to relent in their duty and efforts.
