Imo FRSC Commander charges station officers on proper data collation, management

Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Imo, Mr Anthony Uga has urged the Command’s Station Officers to properly collate and manage data for better operations.

The Sector Commander said this at a one-day workshop organised by the Corps for its Local Government Station Officers in Owerri.

The commander said that the workshop was intended to rejig activities of the LG station officers, as the last arm of the FRSC’s operational activities.

Uga , who commended the station officers for their proactive efforts said that proper data collection and collation would aid proper planning of the corps’ activities in the state.

He urged them to promptly attend to road crash victims and collaborate with sister agencies and hospitals in their areas of operation in case of emergency situations.

“Station officers carry out rescue activities and collate data on road crashes , liaise with LG authorities and visit hospitals and casualties to render appropriate assistance to them.

“They are therefore expected to live above board and add more vigour to their work while not mingling with persons not needed in their work processes within their areas of operation “, he said.
