The Rector who was deeply honoured and humbled by the grand celebration in her honour said, “as we gather to recognize and celebrate the richness of our diverse traditions, I am reminded of the profound role culture plays in shaping our identities and uniting us as a people”.
She reiterated that Culture is the soul of every community, the heartbeat of our shared humanity, and the bridge that connects the past, present, and future. It is through our music, dance, language, fashion, and cuisine that we tell the stories of our origins, express our values, and preserve our common heritage for generations to come.
