Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Imo State, Chief Akaraonye poured encomiums on Senator Anyanwu on what he described as his unwavering commitment to the betterment of Nigeria, Imo State and mankind in general through his empowerment and socio-economic programmes.

Chief Akaraonye pointed out that Sam Daddy, as he is fondly called, has offered scholarships, sponsored numerous youths to acquire skills as well as provided palliatives to many people across party lines in Imo State and beyond.
The former NUJ boss and Secretary Amaimo Development Council said that the Amaimo community is proud of Senator Anyanwu, a worthy son, in whom they are well pleased.
Chief Akaraonye enumerated many infrastructural developments Senator Anyanwu had brought to the community including the completion of the multi- million Naira ultra modern Civic Center Secretariat in Amaimo.
According to Chief Akaraonye, Senator Anyanwu, since his entry into politics, has brought Amaimo into lime light making the community the hob of Ikeduru politics.
He added that Senator Anyanwu, because of his good representation of his people, has occupied enviable positions as the local government chairman, two-term member representing Ikeduru State constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, a Distinguished Senator that represented Imo East in the Senate and presently the sitting National Secretary of PDP.
Chief Akaraonye prayed for a longer and fruitful life for Sam Daddy.
He called on God to continue to strengthen him, give him wisdom and good health while he continues to navigate through the murky waters of Nigerian politics.
