“Crippled”-By Nwosu Prayerlife Onyinyechi, an Expository Poem to Behold At All Times ||| NEWS CORNER
From the look and state of things across the world especially a very crucial part and parcel of the African continent, one can’t bait an eyelid twice or more but to concur that the world across a country of repute among comity of nations has for a long time gone below the good narratives.
The notable writer of “Crippled” -Nwosu Prayerlife Oninyechi spared nothing to expose the ugly developments which has caused the country in question some of her renowned and envied values.
She added that it is only when the mistakes are known and rightly outlined that right and long lasting solutions can be proffered.

Crippled
There was a great country
A country with a sad history
She is blessed in abundant
But she remained redundant.
In politics she plays dirty games
Eliminates patriots for the call of a name
Never does she take the blames
Yet her agendas are always lame.
Never a lover of her brotherhood
She acknowledges not her neighborhood
Governs with lies and falsehood
She sends her citizens six fits
For the sake of making profits
In the dark she destroys the root
Behind doors she seals the truth.
She imposes leadership by force
Claiming to carry a cross
Hunted daily by her past
But never learns so fast.
Her citizens turn predicaments into a comedy
Doing nothing to give a remedy
Because information comes through rumor
Her government gives nothing but humor.
Always calls for poverty eradication
But pays deaf ears to her fallen education
What a doomed and faded country
A country with no boundary.
