Imo NUJ Celebrates Oguike Nwachukwu as CPS to Imo Governor

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Imo State Council felicitates with Mr Oguike Nwachukwu on his appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of the State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
The Union in a press release issued by the State Council Chairman, Chief Chris Akaraonye and signed by the Secretary of the union, Juliet Dim recently described the appointment of the journalist -Oguike Nwachukwu as a welcome development.
It added that the appointment is a situation of putting a round peg in a round hole and as well would yield expected results to give the government a smooth sail.
“We felicitate with you on your appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Governor Imo State”
“NUJ sees your appointment as well deserved having seen your track records for the past years you have been working as a Journalist in different media houses”
Recalling the track records of the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the Imo NUJ prayed for an outstanding outing of Mr Oguike Nwachukwu, urging him to bring to bear his wealth of experience in the journalism profession while promising to assist him in every way possible.
“NUJ has had effective rewarding and sterling relationship with you over the years as a practicing Journalist in the country which we keep appreciating and trust you to continue to live up to expectation in your new assignment as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor”
“While felicitating with you on your appointment, we pledge the unalloyed support of the Council to assist you in your new assignment. Congratulations”
