Entries Now Open For 2022 Imo Media Excellence Awards
The Governor Hope Uzodimma 2022 Media Excellence Award Committee is calling on media professionals to start submitting entries in for the eleven (11) categories which includes Best investigative Journalist, Best documentary TV Journalist, Best documentary Radio Journalist and Most outstanding Radio Presenter as well as Most outstanding TV Presenter.
Other categories are for Most objective Radio Station, Most balanced Local Newspaper, Most outstanding State Correspondent, Best Sports Reporter, Most outstanding Photo-Journalist and the Most Creative Cameraman (TV).
According to a public notice signed by Chairman and Secretary of the committee, Chief Fidel Onyeneke and Unadike William respectively, interested participants are expected to send not more than two (2) of their best entries in each category as applicable.
The entries must be clearly marked for each category.
Contestants for Print should send ten (10) phocopies of each entry; while those for Radio and T.V are expected to send two (2) copies of each entry in well burnt CD or DVD.
Submission of entries opens on Wednesday 10th August, 2022 and closes Friday 30th opens September, 2022.”
Entries should be sent to the Secretary of the Committee the Director of Information, Ministry of Information Owerri, or call 08035084607.
Please note that entries are limited to works done within the year 2022.
