Charles Ahize Commences Consultations With Ideato Nation, Inaugurates Ward Leaders

Senatorial Candidate of Labour Party for Imo West or Orlu Zone, Chief Charles Ahize, last Wednesday commenced consultations with the good people of Ideato North and South on his senatorial bid which he tagged “The Recovery Mission.”
The occasion which took place at the Obiohia Labour Party Office had a mammoth crowd in attendance.
Speaking at the event, the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate thanked the Ideato nation for the warm welcome accorded him and his team. He enjoined them to vote the Labour Party across board at the General Elections next year.
Specifically, he gave them the goodwill message of Mr. Peter Obi anchored on a new Nigeria that would be a productive nation which produces and processes what she needs rather than a consuming nation which depends on other countries for her survival.
The Senatorial hopeful, Charles Ahize, promised to do all within his power to check the erosion menace ravaging parts of Ideato and cutting her off from other communities.
He committed to presenting bills and moving motions that would get the authorities to end the rampaging gully erosion which he identified as inimical to economic emancipation of the Ideato nation.
Furthermore, the Senatorial candidate made a commitment to Ideato nation that he would not let them down as he was determined to restoring their dignity through diligent synergy with federal authorities when elected.
He revealed that he had been a fighter all through his life and would approach his legislative duties in like manner in making sure that the people of Ideato in particular and Imo West in general feel the unique touch of the federal government.
Ahize decried the spate of insecurity in Imo West and its attendant effects on the livelihood of the people, promising that he had a comprehensive peace plan that would arrest insecurity and recover the lost glory of Orlu Zone.
A woman leader in the area and member of the Obi-Datti Presidential Council, Mrs Josephine Udoji hailed Chief Charles Ahize on his senatorial bid and promised to mobilize women to vote massively for him and other candidates of Labour Party.
Speaking after their inauguration, Chief C.C. Ubah, the Director-General of the Charles Ahize Campaign Council, charged the new leaders to see themselves as the grass root soldiers of the party who must strive to give the party victory. He identified the wards as vital to success of the Senatorial candidate whom he described as a great gift to Orlu Zone.
Finally, he charged them to be the eyes and ears of the party at the wards, stating that in the end they would all reap the benefits of their labour.
