ASSOTU Celebrates Imo At 50 …Calls For Unity, Love

The Association of Owerri Town Unions in PortHarcourt (ASSOTU),an umbrella of all the town unions of communities in Owerri federal constituency has sent words of joy on the celebration of the golden jubilee of Imo state under the watch of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
In their release, signed by the chairman and the secretary of ASSOTU,Engr. Dr. Jude Obichere and Michael Okoroafor, the association said the celebration of 50 years of Imo should heavily attract memories of its foundation and her founding fathers and also recall the progress made over these years.
ASSOTU went further saying that the celebration of the golden jubilee of Imo calls for unity and love among the Imolites which they see as the key factors that should naturally tackle security challenges in the state and give room for the celebration of strength.
ASSOTU also said the celebration should be an avenue for peaceful elections in 2027 aware that Imolites as brothers and sisters make up the entire state of Imo.
The Association sent her congratulatory messages to the state governor,Senator Hope Uzodimma on the 50 years celebration urging Imolites to always pray for their leaders so that they would anchor on wisdom and vigour in the course of piloting their affairs.
