APC South East Natl Vice Chairman Eulogizes Gov Uzodimma Over Increment Of Worker’s Salaries …Says Feat is Spurring

The APC South East National Vice Chairman, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has eulogized Governor Hope Uzodimma for increasing the salaries of public workers in Imo State, saying the feat is indeed a proof of good governance in the state by the Governor.
Arodiogbu who stated this during a chat, said the Governor is a good leader who has been demonstrating deep love for the people of Imo State evident in his people oriented policies, developmental projects, youth digital empowerment, cordial working relationship with his appointees and the public workers.
He said he was very happy and well pleased of the positive and bold step taken by Uzodimma in increasing Minimum Wage from #76,000 to #104,000, making Imo State one of the highest- paying employees in the public sector.

Arodiogbu who is also the Board Chairman of David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital Ubuhu Ebonyi State, affirmed that “Medical Directors who used to earn #215,000 will start earning #503,000-#508,000 (for entry-level positions), while Medical Doctors with senior positions will receive #1.2 million.
“Lecturers in higher institutions will earn #222,000 from #119,000, while teachers’ salary had been increased from #76,000 to #104,000 (entry point) and #441,000 (end point). Other health workers’ salaries have increased from #77,000 to #108,000 (entry point) and #502,000 to #803,000 (end point)”.
The renowned medical doctor, erudite scholar, pragmatic politician and technocrat stressed that retirees have also been made happy as the State Government had hugely allocated #16 billion to evenly clear outstanding gratuity arrears of pensioners, covering over 5,700 retirees across state and local government levels.
Saluting the ruling party, the APC the chieftains of the 3R administration championed by Governor Hope Uzodimma for the feat which he described as a milestone, Arodiogbu called on Imo workers to continue to be friendly, maintain discipline, work dutifully, productively discipline to record more gains, thereby increasing the revenue of the oil rich state to strengthen goodness, development and comfort.
“Indeed, Governor Hope Uzodimma has done marvelously. This huge and exceptional feat would improve the welfare of the workers, advances the economy, attracts skilled professionals in critical sectors such as education”, Arodiogbu maintained.
