S’Court: Imo OMPAN Salutes Governor Hope Uzodinma, Charges Him on Good Governance

Imo State Chapter of Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, OMPAN congratulates Senator Hope Uzodinma and Prof Placid Njoku on their recent victory at the Supreme Court of Nigeria as the authentic and duly elected Governor and Deputy Governor of Imo State in the 2019 Gubernatorial Election.
The association conveyed her felicitations to the Governor in a press release issued by the Public Relation officer, ThankGod Emeh shortly after the Supreme Court Review judgement on March 3, 2020.
According to the release, the online regulatory and promotional association congratulated the
Governor on his victory after many legal battles about who is the duly elected Governor the state while commending the Supreme Court Judgement which reaffirmed the supremacy of the constitution, the nation’s judiciary and Nigeria at large.
Imo OMPAN urges the New Imo Government led by Senator Hope Uzodinma and Prof Placid Njoku to live up to expectations of Imo people since every form of distraction has been put to rest noting that to whom much is given, more is expected of.
“Your Excellency Sir, Imo OMPAN prays and wishes You an outstanding governance as you pilot the affairs of our dear state in the next four years. We pray God to grant you the best of wisdom to move Imo
State to greater and enviable heights as pleases Imolites”
“Your recent and final victory at the Supreme Court has reaffirmed the supremacy of the constitution of the country to abide by the books and we hereby charge you to respect the rule of law as well as put up a human face in the discharge of your duties”
The association called on Governor Uzodinma to constitute a formidable team of experts to do with him as well as forgive and give his political opponents a chance to contribute their quota in the development of the state.
“we celebrate you Your Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma (Onwa Oyoko) as your victory at the Supreme Court is a victory for Imo state and Ndi Imo and call on you to bring on board experts to assist you in the job and as well extend an olive branch to all the governorship candidates in the state so as to give them the opportunity to contribute their quota in order to get the best for Imo people”
“We want to respectfully remind you that you are here to represent Imo people, not your zone or family and friends. We urge you to dare to be positively different as a lot of trust and confidence has been bestowed upon you and we expect that you do not disappoint Ndi Imo”
