9th Graduation Ceremony of Ephphatha Academy, Prize Giving Day Ends in Grand Style
Ephphatha Academy, Owerri Imo state has organised its 9th Graduation, Speech and Prize Giving Day.
The very colorful event which was held at the Primary School Section Premises of the Academy, showcased Beautiful Recitations, Cultural displays, Anthems, Songs and Choreography by graduands.
Prizes were also presented to many of the pupils and students who excelled in various categories of learning. The categories include, Most Punctual Learner, Best Behaved Learner, Neatest Learner, Best Learner in the Special Education Category, as well as presentation of laurels to the students who represented and did Ephphatha Academy proud at various State, National and International Competitions.
The prizes were presented to them by the School Proprietress, Mrs Akwugo Nsofor.
The Academy runs a Skills Acquisition program where students are given trainings on various fields ranging from Artworks, Carpentry, Bakery, ICT, Metal works as well as Music. The Skills were displayed at the ceremony. Parents and Teachers of the school also received souvenirs from the school’ Management.

The Staff and Parents lauded the Proprietress for the great work being done in the school which, they said, is clearly evident in the Character and Learning of the pupils and students of Ephphatha Academy.
In her remarks, the school’s Proprietress was thankful to God for His Sustenance and Benevolence adding that the school authority ascribes All Glory to Him.
Mrs Nsofor who described Ephphatha Academy as an all inclusive institution, said the curricular here is designed in such a way that an individualized plan is used which carries all the learners along irrespective of one’s ability or disability.
According to Mrs Nsofor, Ephphatha Academy has represented and did Imo state proud in Alliance Francaise organised Competitions, Spoken Word, Quiz and other Competitions.
The school is the Current South East Champion in Chess and Scrabble.
While wishing the Management, staff and students of the school well, the Proprietress called on organizations and individuals to key into the school’s programs for the overall benefit of their wards.
