Imo Resource Persons Advise Incoming Govt of Ihedioha on Good Governance

Imo people have advised the incoming government of Imo governor-elect, His Excellency, Emeka Ihedioha, to imbibe good governance in order to recover and rebuild the economy of the state to positively benefit all persons.

The advice for the incoming government led by the PDP to imbibe good governance through purposeful leadership, was offered by Imo resource persons at Symposium organized by Imo Committee of Patriots, held recently at Villa Guarding Hotel, Owerri.

They pointed out that if the new administration embraces and cordially works with relevant persons, bodies, groups, agencies and institutions including technocrats, artisans, market people, farmers and workers, Imo will wear new positive look as ideas offered will be matched with action.

The resource persons were: Prince Bob Njemanze, Linus Okorie, Barr Willy Amadi, Barr Mrs Nwokocha, Casmire Anyanwu, Dr Lawrence Obasi, Chike Collins Obi among others who added that the believe the new government will do well having started on a positive step by way of setting up Technical Transition Committee who will strategize to produce templates that will guide the administration rebuild the state.

Willy Amadi, one of the resource persons who addressed the summit, believes that the governor- elect, Emeka Ihedioha “is a young man who has a burning desire to restore order, due process and good governance as a key for socio- political and economic development in the state; who is conversant with architect of power”.

Theme of the Summit is: “Imo After Okorocha, Challenges for the Incoming Administration”, with the Chairman of the Symposium, Chief Elvis Agukwe, urging the governor- elect to deeply and critically look into land matter, bring normalcy to the state, construct road, healthcare, housing estate, utilities as water, electricity, standardize education and make it affordable and quantitative, job creation and sustenance of Democratic culture to make Imo work again.
