The Governorship Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Sir Okey Ezeh, has urged his supporters to remain steadfast and unperturbed, adding that it is now clear that he will emerge victorious at the polls come March 9.

Ezeh who stated this through his media aide, Collins Opurozor, while reacting to the ruling by a Federal High in Owerri over the governorship candidacy of the SDP.

According to him, “We are aware that a Federal High Court in Owerri sat on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 and made a pronouncement about the SDP governorship ticket in Imo State.”

He continued, “The ruling came to us as a shock, and our legal team has since commenced the process of appealing the judgment.”

Ezeh went further to clarify that the court pronouncement does not translate into recognising anyone else, especially Casmir Anyanwu who was on February 11, 2019 duly suspended from the party by the National Working Committee over his anti-party activities, as the candidate of the party.

He assured his supporters that adequate arrangement has been made to ensure that their votes count and the mandate which will be given to him at polls is protected, even as he enjoined all Imolites to come out en masse to vote for the SDP.
