An APC chieftain from Umunwama community, Izombe, Oguta local government area, Imo State and Chairman, Imo Oil Landlords Association, Hon Zion Eddy Ukah, has congratulated Senator Hope Uzodinma on his Supreme Court victory.
Retrospectively, the Apex Court had on 14th Day of January, 2020, declared Senator Hope Uzodinma as the winner of the March 9, 2019, Imo Gubernatorial Election.
Zion Eddy Ukah while speaking with our reporter in Owerri, on Wednesday, said the Court victory of Governor Hope Uzodinma was anticipated giving to his divine call to offer selfless service to the State in order to entrench good governance which actual democracy entails and move the State forward positively.
He encouraged the Governor to shun opportunistic politicians to remain focused in delivering dividends of democracy to the people of the State to forge ahead, praying that God directs and gives him the capacity to bring needed development to the state for peace, prosperity and comfort living.
The ardent supporter of Senator Hope Uzodinma in the 2019 Gubernatorial Election, was happy that his selfless efforts to ensure that the Senator becomes Governor was fruitful at the tail -end, hailing those who struggled with him for their perseverance and firmness.
“Your Excellency, your Supreme Court victory has indeed, not only restored hope and goodness to Imolites, but also vindicated some of us who audaciously stood our ground to defend the electoral will of millions of people despite antagonistic acts by the enemies of democracy”.
