Imo: Insecurity Will Die Naturally When I come on board –YPP guber Candidate Opara Assures

The gubernatorial candidate of Young Progressives Party, YPP in Imo state, Dr. Kemdi Chino Opara has assured Imolites of his poise to end the heightened insecurity in the state through a “practical and achievable framework” which includes dialoguing with aggrieved persons and groups among others, adding that “Insecurity Will Die Naturally when he takes over the mantle of leadership.
Dr. Kemdi while addressing newsmen at his residence on Sunday, September 24, 2023, noted that he has come to lead a life of purpose hence offer governance with a human face.
He stressed the need for committed efforts aimed at fighting insecurity that have characterized the state in recent times, stating that a change of government, and renewed ideas are one of the main solution to the menace ravaging the state.

“When I become governor, I will declare a state of Emergency on Insecurity”
The YPP guber faithful equally decried that education, health and tourism sectors have gone moribund adding that infrastructural decay have become the order of supposedly developmental projects.
He emphasized that there is virtually no developmental projects in the state inspite of monthly allocations which amounts to billions of naira recieved from Federal government.
Pointing at the lapses in Healthcare, Dr Opara said he will reform and transform to usher in a comprehensive health care development.
The guber flagbearer however promised to address pension issues between the government and pensioners by paying pensions as at when due as well as paying up all arrears.
He queried the place and time of youth promised over the years, while assuring Imolites of his poise to engage 75 percent youths in his government to rewrite the narratives of recycling politicians.
He informed that he had not come for the money that comes from the office but to serve Imo people while describing news making round that he is being sponsored by the incumbent governor as total falsehood.
