During one of those visits to the Needy Homes, Osuagwu reflected that “I made a covenant with God to give back to the society if I’m so blessed while growing up. My motivation, first of all, is passion. I have the passion for the youth, for the wellbeing of the less-privileged, the children and the young ones who are said to be the future of the society. So, we do not have a choice, but to take care of them”.

And those promises are being fulfilled as he has continued to intensify benevolence and chivalry to people known and unknown.

Osuagwu, a lover of humanity, also interacted with children in those Orphanages, sang with them, prayed and danced with them and their spirits were lifted as joy vibrated in their hearts, laughter filling their mouths.

“They are like any one of us, so they need that love and we need to show them that we love them, we need to lift their spirits and emotions by coming around and playing with them, providing their needs and generally playing with them”, he stressed.

One of the Needy Homes he visited is Holy Family, St. Joseph Motherless Home Okwu- Uratta, in Owerri North LGA. One of the Caregivers in the Home, Rev. Sister C Chimgozirim, said it was a great thing that Chief Collins Osuagwu Foundation visited the children with several gifts, food items and money. She thanked Osuagwu for the gesture.

There are several humanitarian services Osuagwu rendered to humanity that are not mentioned. Many people who benefited from his goodwill are today contributing greatly to the good of the society.

Osuagwu who is the best person contesting for the Executive Chairmanship Seat had promised that he is going to dignify humanity by empowering people through trade, commerce and industry, agriculture, education and employment in the Council if he is elected.
