Imo APC Members Protest Murder of Chieftain, Odemena from Ngor Okpala

Members of the APC at Logara, Umuohiagwu, Ward 11, Ngor Okpala local government area, Imo State, has taken to the streets of Owerri , protesting the gruesome murder of their member, Hon Ifeanyi Odemena, who was before his demise the APC Ward Chairman of the area.

The protesters who also took their grievances to the State Police Command Headquarters, Owerri, told the Commissioner of Police, Dazuki Gallandachi to ensure that the killers of Mr Ifeanyi Odemena were fished out and arrested.

The protesters who wore black attire, carried placards which have inscriptions as: “Security Agents Save Us, Please. Say No To Fake Security Personnel At Ngor Okpala. Stop Killing Our Youths. APC Ngorkpala Cry For Justice. Mr Ifeanyi Odemena Deserves Justice”, expressing anger over the gruesome killings of innocent people especially Ifeanyi Odemena at Ngor Okpala during elections and warned against such a dastardly act during and after the general elections.

Speaking to journalists in Owerri, High Chief Val Okere, Ambassador Matthew Nwogu, and some APC chieftains at the locality, explained that late Ifeanyi Odemena was gruesomely killed by unknown gunmen on 16th of February, 2019 without provocation in front of his Wife and family, describing the killing as being sponsored and politically motivated.

They however call on the authorities concerned to rise against the murder so that justice prevails.
