Uwaezuoke receives Nkume Chieftency title ||| NEWS CORNER

It was all joy as all roads led to Eziachi Community in Orlu LGA on 31st December 2024 as the Traditional Ruler of Eziachi Eze Ezennaya Ndoh crowned the former Orlu Senatorial candidate Chief Stephen CY Uwaezuoke as “Nkume 1” of Eziachi Community.
The ceremony which took place at the palace of His Royal Highness Eze Ezennaya Ndoh had community members, illustrious sons and daughters of Eziachi, dignitaries, friends and well wishers graced the occasion in joyous atmosphere filled with peace, love and unity.


Officiating the ceremony, Eze Ezennaya Ndoh, a young traditional ruler with vision expressed his happiness on the success of the event as he prayed for the success and progress of his people, land and State respectively.

Eze Ndoh however urged the people to be good ambassadors of the community and law abiding in all they do, adding that good name and good works pays.
Responding, Chief Uwaezuoke -the newly crowned “Nkume 1 of Eziachi” expressed his appreciation on the honour done him.
Uwaezuoke specially thanked the Eze, Community for the gesture while assuring to work for the progress of the community and humanity in general.

Speaking also, the wife of the new title holder, Lolo Nkume 1 of Eziachi eulogized her husband for being worthy son of the soil to have attracted the honour, describing him as a committed person and the husband of her youth.
She however urged women to remain supportive by showing love to their husbands, children and community at large.
The President General of the Eziachi Community, Arc. Uche Achugo commended Chief Stephen CY Uwaezuoke-Nkume 1 of Eziachi for his doggedness in making the community great as he urged him not to relent in working and bringing goodies for the betterment of the Community.
The epoch-making event featured dances, cultural displays, and goodwill messages from all and sundry among other side attractions.
