By Ikenna Orioha

Journalists, under the aegis of Ohaji/Egbema Practicing Journalists (OEPJ), have saluted the Executive Chairman of Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, Prince Marcel Amadioha, over his resolve in sustaining peace in the area.

The group, in its emergency meeting recently, reflected on the roles of Amadioha in  ensuring that the just concluded Umunwaku Ezeship election was not only peaceful, but also free and fair.

In a release signed by the Chairman of Ohaji/ Egbema Practicing Journalists, Oloko Reginald, on Tuesday, X-rayed on Amadioha leadership pattern, nothing that the Chairman has established cordiality and selflessness in his relationship with the people irrespective of age, class and party leaning since assumption of office, urging the number one citizen of Ohaji/Egbema to sustain the tempo.

Oloko added that because of the good leadership pattern employed by Amadioha which gives room to conviviality, cordiality, relaxation and cooperation, relative peace has returned in the area, resulting to enhanced development, commerce and industry.

While encouraging the Council Chairman to keep good leadership afloat, continue working godly and cordially with the people in order to strengthen goodness, development and hence sustain peace, OEPJ urged him to extend peace to other communities where disputes, arising from youth, town union leadership or ezeship tussle are rife.

OEPJ however called on the people of Ohaji/ Egbema to join hands with the leadership of the Council led by Amadioha to maintain peace and development in the locality, as peace has no price, but produces goodness and prosperity.
